How we operate
Fridaygirl was formed at the beginning of 2000. From the start, we were incorporated as a limited company and registered for VAT, so that we developed best practice for ourselves and understood first hand the regulations faced by our clients.
We operate standard business hours of 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday with out of hours cover by arrangement when necessary.
There are currently seven full-time Fridaygirls, which means that during absences and holidays all work is covered seamlessly with no disruptions.
The Fridaygirl office is self contained within an Innovation Centre. Our IT systems and connectivity are substantial and our focus is on protecting our clients information at all times.
We have a comprehensive Royal Mail service which collects our franked business post each evening, including recorded and special delivery.
For our clients’ peace of mind we are registered for Data Protection with the Information Controller, all waste documentation is cross-cut shredded prior to disposal and our IT systems is are backed up remotely off site every night to prevent data loss.
Our terms and conditions are comprehensive yet straightforward and we ask all clients to agree a work specification prior to commencement of service in order that everyone knows what’s expected of them.
We offer a simple structure for our fees. The more time you need, the better the hourly rate. Like a Pay As You Go tariff on a mobile phone contract, we put our clients in control of their budgets by allowing them to customise their package depending on their requirements.
Any time purchased lasts for a three month period, enabling our clients to benefit from a lower hourly rate when purchasing a larger block of time.; Rates currently range from £31-£50 per hour.
